Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Steward to oversee the smooth operation of our hospitality services. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills. This role involves leading a team of stewards, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service, and maintaining an organised environment that meets the expectations of our members and staff alike.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the stewarding team to ensure efficient operations across all service areas
- Coordinate cleaning schedules, behind the bar and ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
- Assist in training new staff members, fostering a positive team environment centred on hospitality excellence
- Monitor health and safety compliance within the stewarding department
- Contribute to assisting special events by providing support in stewarding arrangements.
Experience
- Proven management experience within a hospitality or similar environment
- Strong background in guest services, with an emphasis on delivering customer care
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hospitality operations
- Previous experience in stewarding role is advantageous but not essential
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team

Pay: £25,550.00-£31,000.00 per year
