The Project / Opportunity
We have an incredible opportunity for an very experienced architect with an expertise in leading large projects through construction to play a key role in the delivery of the largest restoration project in the UK.
This £300million+ refurbishment project will (and already has) receive a lot of press attention when it is completed; it is a landmark UK project, known globally and this is an opportunity to play a key role leading its delivery on site.
The project itself is based in Greater Manchester and would require 3 consecutive days per week on site up until the end of Jan 2024 with the other 2 days working from home. The company will pay for travel and accommodation for the successful candidate and give the option of either remaining a permanent employee of their Manchester studio, or moving to one of their several UK-based studios including the HQ in London.
Requirements
- A practical, well organised person who can co-ordinate a team of 6 people to deliver design information to the contractor
- Experience taking medium-large scale projects through construction on site
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience of carrying out a similar role.
Salary/package
- £50-65k basic salary (depending on experience)
