Job Summary:
Duncan Logistics Services Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Compliance Manager to oversee compliance practices across logistics, transport, and distribution activities. The role will help ensure operational procedures, documentation, and working practices remain aligned with applicable requirements while supporting efficient day-to-day logistics operations.
What You'll Do:
- Manage compliance activities across logistics and distribution operations
- Review operational processes against relevant policies and requirements
- Maintain compliance records, registers, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate routine reviews of transport, warehouse, and distribution practices
- Work with operational teams to address identified compliance gaps
- Monitor documentation relating to shipments, suppliers, carriers, and logistics activities
- Support the development and updating of internal procedures and guidance
- Coordinate preparation for internal reviews, customer checks, and external assessments
- Track corrective actions and follow up with responsible teams
- Provide practical compliance guidance to logistics colleagues and managers
- Prepare management updates on compliance trends, issues, and improvement priorities
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, compliance, transport, distribution, supply chain, operational quality, or a related environment
- Good understanding of structured operational procedures and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and record-management skills
- Ability to identify issues and recommend practical corrective actions
- Confident communication with operational teams and external partners
- Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with reports, spreadsheets, and business systems
- Previous compliance or management experience is advantageous but not essential
- Logistics, supply chain, compliance, business, or related qualifications are helpful, with relevant transferable experience also considered

Pay: £58,000.00 per year
