Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers and scaffolding to achieve smooth, professional results.
- Collaborate with Manager and Clients to understand design specifications and ensure work meets expectations.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding project progress or any issues encountered during decorating tasks.
Requirements
- 10 + years Painting and Decorating experience.
- Proven experience in painting and decorating across a wide range of customer base is highly desirable.
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation is preferred for site visits and material transport.
- Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work at heights using scaffolding or ladders safely and confidently.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting equipment and hazardous materials.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different project requirements.

Pay: £14.35-£20.00 per hour
