We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations, with a focus on food food preparation and presentation. The role is essential in delivering high-quality dishes that meet out restaurant standards and delight our customers. Weekends 7:30am to 3:30pm, overtime available if wanted.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals.
- Ensuring all customers have a warm and welcoming visit.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or similar culinary role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Culinary experience with a focus on meal preparation
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and serving techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
