Experienced CNC Milling professional required to be an influential part of our milling shop consisting of 5 CNC machining centres in various configurations including 3 - 5 axis - Fanuc controls - OneCNC Cad Cam.
You will be a Highly Capable Engineer, a good communicator and confident of your own abilities, with an ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, complimented by a team goal ethos, whilst observing the operational and Quality procedures of a AS9000 approved manufacturing organisation.
Fanuc control experience is mandatory. Working on a range of materials including, stainless and nickel alloys, the workload consists of mainly small batch work typically 20's - 50's for the Gas Turbine / Power Generation / Airframe industries all prestigeous OEM's with exacting standards. Mostly repeat / scheduled work with a small element of new work, which creates a varied work load. ( stong long standing contracts in place).
This role has a direct line of progression to Milling Section Supervisor and you will be mentored towards that goal from day one. This should take approximately 18 months at which point you will be resposible for shaping the sections future and building your own team to take the company forward.
Additional responsibilties at this point would involve scheduling of work load, tooling soucing and ordering, mentoring of staff and AOB that is required to make the section a success.
30 days (total) payed holiday ( currently around 50:50 split fixed:floating).
Mon - Thur 7:15am - 4:15pm Fri 7:15am-12:15pm
Days only.. No weekends
Agency involvement not required.
