Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and attentive Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of food orders from the kitchen to our guests’ tables. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry, food service, and guest satisfaction. The Food Runner will work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to uphold high standards of service and food safety.
Duties
- Collect prepared dishes from the kitchen promptly and accurately, ensuring correct order presentation.
- Deliver food items swiftly and courteously to guests’ tables, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Assist in organising and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with servers, chefs, and guests to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
- Handle guest requests politely and efficiently, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following health and safety regulations diligently.
- Support delivery drivers when necessary, ensuring safe transportation of food items.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving procedures, and food safety standards is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail when handling orders and guest requests.
- Experience with delivery driving or courier services is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences are essential.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
