We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bedroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and finishing of bespoke kitchens and bedrooms, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry, joinery, or construction to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment. The position involves working on-site at various locations, delivering quality fittings within specified timeframes.
Duties
- Measure and prepare work areas to ensure precise fitting of kitchen units and bedroom furniture
- Fabricate, assemble, and install cabinetry, worktops, wardrobes, and related fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, shaping, and joining materials to specifications
- Use plumbing skills to connect sinks, dishwashers, and other appliances where necessar
- Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and positioning of large units or materials
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project
Experience
- Proven experience in installation of kitchens
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, screwdrivers, chisels, and measuring devices
- Experience working with power tools including routers, jigsaws, and drills
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills with an understanding of construction principles
- Knowledge of plumbing systems relevant to kitchen and bedroom installations
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation
