Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AutoCAD structural steelwork Draughtsman/woman to join our innovative design team. Duties
- Develop detailed steel work 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD software to meet project specifications and standards
- Develop detailed steel work 2D/3D fabrication, approval and installation drawings.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to interpret concepts into precise technical drawings
- Assist in preparing graphic presentations and visualizations for client approval and project proposals
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry codes and client requirements
- Undertake site surveys
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, construction documents, and engineering drawings accurately
- Experience with construction projects or related fieldwork to understand practical application of designs
- Familiarity with CAD standards, best practices in drafting, and industry regulations
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Pay: £25,420.00-£45,782.50 per year
