Landscape Gardener (PA1 & PA6 Certified - Preffered)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team in maintaining and transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, well-kept environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and landscaping, with hands-on experience using both petrol-powered and traditional gardening tools. PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates are highly preferred—though training can be provided
Responsibilities
- Operate petrol-powered machinery including strimmers, hedge cutters, pedestrian and ride-on mowers
- Perform routine groundskeeping: mowing, trimming, edging, leaf blowing, and debris clearance
- Carry out weed control using approved herbicides (PA1 & PA6 spraying certification preferred)
- Plant, cultivate, and care for diverse plant species, shrubs, and flowers
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and report:
- Garden health issues (pests, diseases, poor growth)
- Hazards such as fallen trees, broken branches, or dead plants
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure safe use of tools around others
- Work independently after an introductory period, occasionally starting early at specific sites
- Plant Knowledge preffered
- Flexible with adapting to changing sites and locations
Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance
- Competence in using power tools, petrol garden machinery, and hand tools
- PA1 & PA6 spraying certificate (preferred)
- Keen attention to detail and a sharp eye for landscape aesthetics
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work in varied weather
- Valid UK Driving Licence (must be over 21 for insurance purposes)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner with clients
- Respect for safety protocols and public spaces
- DBS Certificate

Pay: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
