Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable using a range of hand and power tools. Heavy lifting may be required as part of daily tasks.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify faults and issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance including engine work, brake repairs, suspension, and electrical systems
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and servicing
- Carry out routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Assist with the replacement of parts, fluids, and other components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out for each vehicle
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Assist in the organisation of workshop activities to optimise workflow
- Face to face customer experience
- Invoicing, booking call taking
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance are desirable but not essential
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Not licence ideally

Pay: £34,000.00-£47,275.57 per year
