We are seeking to appoint an Electronic Repair Technician (to component level ), to undertake the repair, test of Electronic and Electrical Test Equipment to component level. The ideal candidate will have the ability to use a variety of measurement equipment, in a precision measurement environment, and will be able to read circuit diagrams. We would welcome applications with previous experience working within a repair workshop or laboratory environment. An understanding of the application and the use of electronic test equipment is essential; and it would be advantageous to have an understanding of the various measurement techniques.
The preferred level of qualification for this role would be:- City & Guilds 222 or 224 with TEC Level 1, 2 and 3 (or equivalent), or ONC/HNC in Electronic Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Excellent analytical skills, together with exceptional problem solving skills are required. The ideal candidate will be able to work unsupervised/independently, be self motivated and committed to their self development. The ability to adapt to a changing environment, undertake a challenge, remain calm whilst under pressure are important qualities of the role.
