Join our Active Care team in Conisbrough as a Breakfast & After School Club Lead or Assistant from September 2026. £12.71 – £13.50, term-time only.
Monday to Friday mornings and Monday to Thursday afternoons. We are recruiting for both Lead and Assistant positions.

The Position
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Active Care Lead and Assistant team members to run our Morning and After School Club in Conisborough. You'll deliver creative, play-based activities that inspire and entertain children aged 4–11, taking responsibility for the smooth running of the club and building positive relationships with parents, children and school staff. The Lead role carries day-to-day operational responsibility; the Assistant role supports delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in the day-to-day operation of the Morning and After School Club
- Deliver an outstanding experience and act as a point of contact for parents and carers
- Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of all children in your care
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and school staff
- Prepare and serve a light breakfast/tea for attending children
- Support the ordering and management of food and supplies
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- Experience in a similar environment (wraparound care/holiday clubs)
- Experience in EYFS or assisting an out-of-school/sports club (desirable)
- Level 2/3 childcare or playwork qualification (desirable)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (training can be provided)
- First Aid (training can be provided)
- Availability five days a week, Monday to Friday
