We are currently looking for a part-time Order Picker to join our team in delivering outstanding customer service. This role is based at our Prees 2 Distribution Centre, SY13 2JL
Job Description and Profile
This role is part time 32hrs per week Monday to Thursday 1000-1800hrs and involves working in our Warehouse operating a PPT/LLOP order picking with use of a counter balance and reach truck
The main responsibility will be order picking so strong experience in this area is required, the individual will need a good fitness level due to the demands of the job and previous manual handling is essential.
Counterbalance and Reach trucks licences are desirable. PPT or LLOP licence is essential.
Requirements
· Good communication skills, good command of spoken and written English
· Good numeracy and literacy
· The successful candidate will be energetic, friendly and hard working
· Ability to work well as part of a team
. Demonstrate a working knowledge of H&S practices.
Prior experience of working within warehouse environment is essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Order picking - strong manual handling techniques required.
· Loading and unloading vehicles
· Stock control and rotation, housekeeping
· Warehouse work
Terms:
The role will require the successful candidate to work between 8 hours per day Monday to Thursday - 1000-1800hrs
£14.00p/h rising to £14.80
8 hour contract also includes £5 a day shift allowance
