Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead sales development across London and the South-East of England.
This is a key role within the sales organisation, responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the Away-From-Home sector.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of existing customers while actively expanding ITC’s market presence by securing new distribution partners and end-user accounts. The role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the territory and nationally, expanding ITC’s customer base.
- Develop and execute a structured national and regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
- Prospect and convert new accounts within key market sectors including distribution, hospitality, facilities management, healthcare, and commercial environments.
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
- Act as a trusted partner to clients by understanding their operational needs and providing appropriate product solutions.
- Manage and grow existing accounts through proactive engagement and commercial development.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer requirements within the market.
- Provide market insights and feedback to support product development and commercial strategy.
- Analyse sales performance and market data to identify growth opportunities.
Commercial Performance
- Achieve and exceed agreed regional sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Ensure effective territory management and strategic planning.
Brand Representation
- Represent ITC at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Promote ITC’s brand values of quality, sustainability, and innovation within the market.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, customer service, and operations to ensure excellent customer delivery.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to the Sales Director.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a home-based role.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
- A full driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within the tissue, hygiene, washroom, or FMCG sectors.
- Knowledge of the Away-From-Home hygiene market.
- Existing relationships within distributors or facilities management channels.
