Overview
Messingham Lakes is looking for enthusiastic and customer‑focused Front of House Team Members to join our busy hospitality team. We welcome a wide range of guests including lodge owners, golfers, holiday guests, and those attending weddings and private functions, making every day varied and enjoyable.
We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent service. For motivated team members, there is genuine opportunity to progress within our growing resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and deliver friendly, professional service
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately
- Take orders, handle payments, and operate till systems
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well‑presented restaurant and bar area
- Support service for weddings, events, and private functions
- Assist with setup and clear‑down of dining and event spaces
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and service standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Front of House, bar, or hospitality role is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and confident in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event shifts
- A passion for delivering great guest experiences to a variety of customers
