Overview
We are seeking a Qualified Electrician with experience in Renewables.
We have immediate starts available due to growing demand.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems on-site.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to resolve problems efficiently.
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant regulations and working practices.
- Mentor junior team members and oversee quality control throughout the project.
- Compile job files of photographic evidence and electrical certifications.
- Complete relevant apps and documents to provide handovers to our clients.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Electrician within the solar PV and renewable energy sector is a MUST!
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and wiring system design.
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, fault diagnosis, and system commissioning.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Relevant certifications in Solar PV
- Experience in installation and wiring of ASHP's would be great.
Guidance and training is always available.
Must be a fully qualified electrician and experienced and confident in Solar. The main brands we fit are Sunsynk, Tesla, Duracell, Fox, Sigenergy. Manufacturer specific guidance is always on hand for anything you are unfamiliar with.
The job involves reporting to our NG18 Mansfield based office multiple times a week for rubbish drop offs, meeting labourers or material collections.
You must have the following as a minimum,
- C&G level 3
- NVQ Level 3
- 18th Edition
- 2391 or equivalent
- Solar PV
- EV course (Preferred)
This is a full time salaried role on the books. We are a small company with great opportunities for progression. We want people who are looking for something long term. You could work on a self employed basis if you like. Just get in touch and we will be happy to discuss this.
You will be teamed up with an electricians mate. And there will be no roof works required.
