Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Cleaner to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within clinical settings, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Monday - Friday 16:30PM - 20:00PM
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, operating theaters, corridors, restrooms, and common areas using approved cleaning agents and techniques.
- Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of pathogens and ensure a sterile environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of medical equipment, fixtures, and surfaces according to hospital standards.
- Restock supplies such as hand sanitizers, paper towels, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during all cleaning activities.
- Document cleaning activities accurately in logs and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to coordinate cleaning schedules around patient procedures and hospital operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, preferably within healthcare or hospital settings.
- Knowledge of infection prevention practices and hospital hygiene standards.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and healthcare staff.
