Euro Accessories are one of the leading precast & construction accessory distributors in the UK and Ireland, with 4 locations based in, Sandbach, Basingstoke, Armagh & Roosky.
We are looking for a permanent Class 1 HGV Driver, based out of our head office in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 45 hours per week minimum.
Start Time: From 6:00am. (FLEXIBILITY REQUIRED)
Hourly Rate: £16.92
Night Out Rate: £25.00
Annual Leave: 28 days including public holidays
Due to the nature of the role, an average of 2-4 nights out per week may be required
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring each delivery is done in a timely and professional manner.
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections each day.
- Securing your load on the trailer to ensure products are safely loaded and reduce the chance of damage.
- Vehicle safety checks are to be completed to the companies’ policies and procedures.
- Provide high standard customer services with each delivery.
- Ensuring you adhere to all safe working practices required.
- Comply with the Driver Hours & Working Times Directive.
- Keeping your vehicle in good condition and report any defects.
- Represent the company to our customers in the best way possible.
Requirements:
- Due to insurance restrictions you must have a minimum 2 years Class 1 Experience.
- Flexible Working Hours & Can-do-attitude
- Must have valid Digital Tachograph Card and full CPC Card.
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
- Have a good geographical knowledge
