Palm Yorkshire is a trusted provider of professional building and maintenance services, working extensively within the social housing sector. We are currently looking for an experienced Builder to join our team on long-term, ongoing contracts across Leeds and Wakefield.
This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with a strong background in external and structural building works, looking for stable, consistent work — no short-term patches.
Key Responsibilities
- Full house re-pointing
- Cavity wall clearing
- Brickwork and general walling
- Concreting works
- Flagging / paving
- Lintel replacements
- Setting out work accurately without supervision
- Working in both occupied and void social housing properties
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in general building works
- Proven experience carrying out all works listed above (essential)
- Ability to set out and manage work independently
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Ability to work to agreed programmes and timescales
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Must be eligible to work in the UK (proof required)
- Ability to provide references and/or evidence of previous work
