Group Management Accountant

The Role
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls.
- Assist with VAT returns, statutory accounts, audits and regulatory reporting.
- Provide financial support and guidance to managers across the business.
- Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and systems.
- Support, mentor and review the work of junior finance team members.
- Contribute to finance projects and wider business initiatives.
About You
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
- Strong experience preparing management accounts.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience handling confidential financial information.
- Strong team player with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Desirable
- Experience within a commercial or operational finance environment.
- Business partnering experience with non-finance teams.
- Knowledge of finance systems and reporting tools.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
