Due to continued growth within our fencing department, we are looking to recruit an experienced Customer Care Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending customer properties, completing remedial works and ensuring that any outstanding issues are resolved to a high standard.
Position Overview
As a Customer Care Operative within our Fencing Department, you will be responsible for carrying out fencing repairs, adjustments and remedial works following customer feedback, inspections and client requirements.
You will be a key representative of the company when attending occupied properties, therefore a professional approach, good communication skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction are essential.
The role requires someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently and understands the importance of leaving every property with the customer fully satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out customer care and remedial works relating to fencing installations and external works.
- Attend residential properties to investigate and resolve reported issues.
- Complete repairs, adjustments and snagging works to a high-quality standard.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Communicate professionally with residents, clients and company representatives.
- Provide updates on completed works and report any issues requiring further attention.
- Identify and resolve defects wherever possible during the first visit.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
- Complete required paperwork, digital records and job sheets accurately.
- Work in accordance with company health and safety procedures and quality standards.
- Represent Tees Valley Trade Group professionally when working on customer properties.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience working within fencing, or a similar construction environment.
- Experience completing remedial works, repairs or snagging within occupied properties.
- Good knowledge of fencing installation methods, materials and repair techniques.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and manage daily workloads effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to resolve customer issues.
- A full UK driving licence.
