Duties
- Assist in preparing and assembling a variety of desserts, including cakes, and specialty treats, following established recipes and standards
- Support the food production process by measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and decorating desserts with precision and creativity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, and refrigeration units, adhering to all safety protocols
- Stock ingredients and supplies regularly to ensure smooth daily operations and minimize waste
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods while maintaining high-quality standards
- Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to deliver safe, delicious desserts consistently
Experience
- Prior experience in food production or food preparation within a bakery, restaurant, or café setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued
- Knowledge of baking techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen safety procedures is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices ensures safe handling of ingredients and equipment
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrates ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
