Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team in a vibrant, happy & friendly environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front of house services, providing exceptional customer service while supervising staff. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for food and great service with a strong background in team management within hospitality. We do not open evenings, the successful candidate will be expected to work one day per weekend.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Supervise and train front of house staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Manage customer inquiries and complaints effectively, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
- Implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality within the establishment.
- Carry out opening and closing checklists and procedures including cashing up.
Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality.
- Proven skills in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences.
