We’re looking for a skilled Bodyshop Technician with strong paint‑spraying experience to join our workshop team. This role suits someone who takes pride in high‑quality repairs, precise finishing, and consistent craftsmanship across a wide range of leisure vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Bodywork Repairs — Structural, cosmetic, and accident‑damage repairs on caravans and motorhomes.
- Panel Replacement — Aluminium, GRP, ABS and composite panel fitting to manufacturer standards.
- Paint Spraying — Prep, prime, colour‑match and spray external panels, mouldings and repair areas to a high finish.
- Finishing & Detailing — Ensure all completed work is clean, polished and ready for customer handover.
- Workshop Collaboration — Work closely with service technicians, parts advisors and front‑of‑house.
Additional training for specialist repairs will be provided for other tasks we carry out onsite such as:-
- Damp & Water Ingress Repairs — Diagnose, strip out, rebuild and seal affected areas.
- Interior Refurbishment — Repair internal wallboards, furniture and fixtures where required.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry Experience would be preferred but not necessary, in caravan/motorhome bodywork, coachbuilding, or similar repair environments.
- Technical Skill with GRP, aluminium, sealants, adhesives, and structural repairs.
- Attention to Detail — consistent, tidy workmanship.
- Problem‑Solving — ability to diagnose issues and plan effective repair methods.
- Customer Focus — pride in delivering work that meets both workshop and customer expectations.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.

Duties
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans to restore structural integrity and appearance
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform body repairs, including dent repairs, panel replacement, and refinishing
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Perform quality inspections on completed repairs to ensure they meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements
- Prior experience in a body shop or automotive repair environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
