We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join the team at our gastropub in Hoylake. The successful candidate will join our kitchen team, working alongisde our head chef, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our customers.
About us:
We are a lively gastropub at the end of Market Street in Hoylake. We pride ourselves on our warm friendly atmosphere, serving excellent, restaurant quality dishes in a cosy pub atmosphere. We show all live sports, host our own quiz night and have live music every Saturday evening. We are well known in the area for our Sunday Roast Dinners, and sell out almost every week. Our kitchen is open currently 5 days a week, looking to move to 7 days & we hold a 5 star food hygiene rating.
Responsibilities -
- Oversee all aspects of the food production
- Aid in the creation of innovative dishes and specials
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with front of house to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen enviroment
Who we are looking for
- Organised, reliable and driven to deliver high standards
- Clear communication style
- Proficient in all aspects of food preperation, from cooking techniques to presentation
- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced enviroment while maintaining quality
- Attention to detail
