JOB TITLE: Housekeeper / Cleaner (seasonal contract July to September)

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Llawnroc Hotel in Gorran Haven is reopening in July 2026, and we’re looking for friendly, reliable Housekeepers to join our brilliant CHAOS team for the summer season. If you take pride in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces and enjoy working as part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Housekeeper, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a fantastic guest experience by ensuring our rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and presented to the highest standard.
This is a seasonal role running between July – September 2026 with the opportunity for ongoing work when the hotel fully reopens in 2027.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Cleaning guest bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Changing bed linen and refreshing rooms for new arrivals
- Replenishing supplies and toiletries
- Reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Keeping storage areas tidy and well-stocked
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Following all health and safety procedures
PERSON SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL
- Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in high standards
DESIRABLE
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential.
- A full driving license and access to your own vehicle would be desirable.
This role may be subject to a DBS check as per the terms of employment.
