Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will play a vital part in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products that meet our company’s standards for quality and cost-effectiveness. Your proactive approach will help ensure a seamless supply chain process, supporting our continued growth and success.
Responsibilities
We are looking to add to our Purchasing Team to negotiate, procure best price and value, and to introduce new product to the company’s rapidly expanding range of Vape products, supplying Trade and Retail sector.
Working closely with the Purchasing Team Leader and Junior Buyer to reduce costs and execute all roles and responsibilities efficiently
This is a busy and exciting role, with deadlines that need to be met to ensure continuous stock is available. Every day is different, adaptability is key.
The roles is full time and based at our Birmingham City Centre office, 2 minute walk from New St Station.
The role encompasses the following:
Use of Bespoke Purchasing CRM
Analysing stock levels/inventory using CRM data, to ensure constant replenishment and maintain good stock levels.
Generation of new SKUs, ensuring all necessary information is inputted.
Working with suppliers to gain accurate ETAs.
Checking all supplier invoices for pricing, correct products etc before requesting payment be made.
Trade Analysis / Market Research
Constant analysis of current trends and continuously adding new suppliers to the portfolio.
Goods In Monitoring
Working closely with the warehouse to ensure fulfilment is correct and liaise with suppliers to solve any issues.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build productive supplier relationships.
- Strong adminstration skiills with good excel level
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing purchase orders and inventory data.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and with suppliers.
