Grounds Maintenance Operative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a grounds maintenance operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be hardworking with a good eye for detail. As a grounds maintenance operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of grounds and gardens with the commercial and private sectors.
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of horticultural tasks, including; grass cutting / strimming, weed removal and spraying, hedge / shrub / tree trimming, planting etc.
Basic tool maintenance
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in groundskeeping, garden maintenance or landscaping
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for gardening tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- PA1 and PA6 spraying certificate
