Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our nursery facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are hygienic, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and other floor care techniques to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Disinfect surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards
- Empty bins in all rooms.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure cleaning cupboards are organized and stocked for daily use
- Follow all safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
Skills
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning products and proper handling procedures
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards
- Good organizational skills for managing supplies and maintaining cleanliness schedules
- Ability to work independently
