Social & Community Manager
Manchester | Full-time | Hybrid
£38,000–£45,000 depending on experience
The role
Iso is looking for a hands-on Social & Community Manager to own our organic social output, community engagement and creator nurturing.
You will be responsible for making sure our channels are consistently active, relevant and commercially useful. This means creating content yourself, managing the daily community, identifying what customers are responding to and helping turn creator activity into stronger, more consistent UGC.
This is not a role for someone who only schedules posts or manages agencies. You need to be confident filming, editing, posting, reacting quickly and leading the day-to-day social function.
Responsibilities
- Own daily organic social activity across TikTok and Instagram.
- Plan, create, edit and publish short-form content around products, launches, campaigns, trends and customer questions.
- Maintain a consistent volume of reactive and planned content.
- Manage comments, DMs, tagged content and customer conversations.
- Identify recurring customer questions, objections and content opportunities, turning them into useful content and feeding them back to the wider team.
- Own the community side of Creator Club and ambassador activity.
- Build relationships with worthwhile creators, follow up after product seeding and improve the consistency of creator content.
- Source, secure and repurpose strong customer and creator content for organic and paid use.
- Work with the content and paid media teams to identify the strongest hooks, messages and formats.
- Support shoots, live activity, launches and events where required.
- Brief and manage freelancers and, as the function grows, support the hire and development of a junior Social & Community Executive.
- Report weekly on content output, engagement, community activity, creator performance and key actions.
Experience required
- 4–6 years’ experience managing social media and community for a consumer brand.
- Proven experience owning TikTok and Instagram channels, not just supporting a wider team.
- Strong hands-on short-form content creation and editing skills.
- Evidence of content that has delivered meaningful organic reach, engagement and sales impact.
- Experience managing creator, ambassador or UGC activity.
- Experience managing a customer community and using its feedback to improve content and campaigns.
- Comfortable working quickly in a growing brand where priorities move fast.
- Beauty, skincare, makeup, aesthetics or lifestyle-brand experience is strongly preferred.
What success looks like
- Higher quality and more consistent social output.
- A more active, well-managed customer community.
- Better creator relationships and more usable UGC.
- Clear insight into what customers want, what content is working and what needs improving.
- A social function capable of growing into a small team under your management.
Pay: £37,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
