We're recruiting for a Yard Person / Delivery Driver in Burgess Hill. This varied role combines driving, yard work and general maintenance, with machinery and parts deliveries across the local area.

32 days' holiday including bank holidays

Overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours

You'll support the depot with a mixture of delivery and yard duties, including:

Loading, unloading and securing machinery
-
Driving 3.5T flatbed vans for deliveries and collections

General grounds maintenance and yard upkeep
-
Vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
-
Moving stock and completing delivery paperwork
-
Basic assembly and customer assistance
-
General tasks including painting, sweeping and drain clearance
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Previous driving or delivery experience
-
Trailer towing experience preferred
-
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

Good communication and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility for occasional early starts or later finishes
-
Horticultural, agricultural or construction experience would be beneficial

Forklift licence advantageous
