Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a passion for sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce. The ideal applicant will be organised, proactive, and capable of identifying new business opportunities within competitive markets.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the glazing and construction sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular communication and customised solutions.
- · Generate, qualify, and follow up on leads to secure new contracts and projects
- Lead negotiations and close deals to achieve growth targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, industry events, and networking opportunities
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities or threats.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives for senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the relevant industry sector.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce, along with other CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and close high-value deals.
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Relevant academic qualifications or professional certifications related to sales or business management are desirable but not essential. What we offer
