In this energetic position, you will assist with the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of scaffolding structures on various construction sites. Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, dismantling, and proper securing of scaffolding structures according to safety protocols and project specifications
- Carry out routine inspections of scaffolding for stability, damage, or hazards, reporting issues immediately to supervisors
- Handle and operate hand tools and power tools safely during assembly and disassembly processes
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, electricians, and plumbers by providing reliable access points and working platforms
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around scaffolding sites to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate assembly of scaffolding structures
- Assist with other general construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and minor fabrication work as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience on construction sites or in related roles is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus for understanding project layouts
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures on construction sites
- Knowledge of construction management principles or construction estimating is advantageous but not required
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Valid safety certifications such as OSHA training or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected
