Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Fast Food Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering orders promptly and courteously to customers, ensuring a high standard of service. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport food orders to customers' locations within designated areas.
- Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining the quality of the food.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management regarding delivery times or any issues encountered.
- Handle cash or electronic payments as required, ensuring proper transaction procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the food service or logistics industry.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently under time constraints.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of local roads and navigation skills to optimise routes and reduce delivery times.
