Our reputable and expanding automotive client in Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced vehicle technicians looking to work in a dynamic, independent environment specialising in fleet maintenance, roadside assistance, and DPF servicing. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will benefit from a varied role that offers autonomy, professional development, and a supportive team.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £36,000 per annum, with an OTE of up to £45,000
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays (day off in lieu)

Duties:
- Perform mobile servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Conduct DPF cleaning and repair, primarily with the system remaining on the vehicle
- Support roadside and breakdown assistance as part of the mobile fleet
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service
- Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment in line with company policies
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in mobile, dealership, or breakdown vehicle repair environments
- Strong diagnostic skills with experience servicing multiple brands
- Familiarity with DPF systems and cleaning procedures
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record is essential
- Highly reliable, well-organised, and confident working independently
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-focused attitude
