Overview
We are looking for a Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to the overall hospitality experience we provide to our guests.
Great for someone who is looking to start out in the pub business and learn the kitchen and bar side of the business.
The shifts will be over the weekends from Friday until Sunday and you will be working in team with our other chefs.
Pay will be increased due to experience after proof of working.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist the kitchen staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food production and service.
- Keep workstations clean and organised, adhering to health regulations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in food preparation or line cooking roles, but is not necessary.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork are crucial for success in this role.
