Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Electricians Mate/Improver to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you will assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems using hand tools and power tools
- Support the setup and dismantling of electrical equipment on-site, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Conduct basic inspections of electrical components and wiring under supervision to identify potential issues
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for electrical tasks
- Follow detailed instructions from senior electricians to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Document work progress and report any safety concerns or technical issues to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Previous experience working with hand tools, power tools, or in an electrical environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic understanding of electrical systems or coursework related to electrical trades is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge in electrical installation and maintenance
