Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Singing Teacher to join our growing Vocal Academy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vocal training and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students of all ages and skill levels.
This role is to join our studio in Dronfield but online teaching is also available. Afternoon/evening hours required but flexible on which days.
Duties
- Deliver engaging and personalised singing lessons tailored to individual student needs and goals
- Prepare students for performances, auditions, or examinations as required
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that boosts students’ confidence and enjoyment of singing
- Maintain organised records of lesson plans, attendance, and progress notes
- Promote upcoming classes, workshops, or recitals through appropriate channels
- Collaborate with other music educators to enhance programme offerings and student experiences
- Support show rehearsals and performances
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications (graded examinations/degrees)
- Experience teaching singing (group or 1:1)
- DBS Certificate
- Safeguarding Training
- Public Liability Insurance
- Knowledge of LCM examinations (desirable - or other exam boards)
- Knowledge of Musical Theatre and Popular Music singing styles (desirable)
- Performance experience (desirable)
Pay: From £19.00 per hour
