We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience to join our multidisciplinary medical unit team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care to medically complex pediatric patients, collaborating closely with physicians, rehabilitation therapists, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other care professionals.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to pediatric patients recovering from acute illness, trauma, or chronic conditions.

Collaborate with respiratory therapy to care for medically complex children with tracheostomies

Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans.

Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.

Monitor patient status, identify changes in condition, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.

Educate and support families on care needs, discharge planning, and follow-up resources.

Uphold hospital standards for safety, documentation, and quality improvement practices.
Minimum Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with current Massachusetts licensure.

2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric care, medical-surgical, or acute rehabilitation settings.

Strong clinical judgment and ability to handle complex medical needs.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-family advocacy skills.
