Veterinary Receptionist – 28 Hours per Week
As an independent and growing veterinary practice, Rackheath Vets has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy and friendly team. Applicants should have a minimum of 1 years' receptionist experience, preferably within the Veterinary, Dental or Healthcare sector, although other receptionist experience will be considered.
Hours: 28 hours per week worked between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 6.45 p.m. over 3 days, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays (8.30–12:30 p.m) on a rota basis.
About the Role
Our reception team is the heartbeat of our practice and the first point of contact for every client who calls or visits us. We are looking for someone with a welcoming manner, excellent communication skills, strong IT ability, and a genuine passion for both animals and people and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
The role includes:
Client care and support
Appointment management
Administrative duties
Financial and payment related tasks
General reception responsibilities

Experience in a receptionist role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Confident IT skills
