Position: Sushi Chef (New Opening Launch Team)

Maki & Ramen is bringing Japanese-inspired dining to Braehead, and we’re building our founding kitchen team! Born in Scotland, we’re fast-paced, passionate about great food, and expanding quickly. We’re looking for skilled Sushi Chefs to help us open the doors and deliver an incredible guest experience from day one.
What You’ll Do:
- Handcraft fresh, high-quality sushi, sashimi, and rolls to standard.
- Keep your station immaculate and strictly follow food safety rules.
- Set up new kitchen workflows, manage prep, and control stock.
- Work hand-in-hand with front-of-house to execute a smooth opening.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in a fast-paced kitchen or sushi setup.
- High standards for speed, quality, and plate presentation.
- Excitement about launching a new site and setting high standards early.
- Right to work in the UK.
