My Lighthouse is a new way for experienced carers to find work directly with families, no agency taking a cut of your pay. We are recruiting carers onto our platform for live-in and hourly roles across the UK.

We are currently seeking a visiting carer for a role in PL25, St. Austell:
Pay: £15 - £20 per hour
Start: 18 September 2026
Working pattern: 14 hours/week: 1 hour mornings and 1 hour evenings, flexible around hospital appointments
Key responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support hygiene and toileting needs
- Assist with household tasks and laundry
- Manage medication reminders and encouragement
- Help with mobility and home movement
Requirements
- Experience in stroke rehabilitation
- Understanding of exercise and medication routines
About the client
- Male with mild cognitive impairment
- Recovering from stroke with heart failure
- Uses leg splint, helmet and stick
- Tires easily; requires activity and rest balance
This role will suit someone organised, reliable and calm, experienced in stroke care and routines.
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
