We're looking for a commercially astute and proactive finance business partner to join our Retail, Transport and Mobile finance team. This is a pivotal opportunity where you'll partner closely with senior stakeholders across a major global health and beauty retailer, providing financial insight, constructive challenge, and support to drive better decision-making. You'll bring strong analytical skills and the ability to turn financial information into practical, actionable insight that improves business performance.
- Lead financial business partnering for a major global health and beauty retailer, driving financial performance and supporting key business decisions
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with client finance teams and key stakeholders, delivering financial insight and constructive challenge to inform and influence decision-making processes
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting, ensuring robust financial control, performance analysis, and compliance with reporting requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and actions that enhance business performance
- Support strategic and operational initiatives through financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis
- Act as the key finance contact for both internal and external stakeholders, building strong and effective working relationships
- Provide insightful financial and analytical reporting to understand business performance, risks, and opportunities
- Challenge and support operational teams to drive revenue growth, margin enhancement, and cost efficiency
- Partner with stakeholders to support strategic decision-making through financial insight and commercial analysis
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
- Own the accurate and timely delivery of P&L, balance sheet, and working capital reporting
- Produce monthly management accounts, including clear variance analysis and commentary on key performance drivers
- Ensure all client reporting requirements are delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting standards
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information, with a strong focus on control and governance
- Strong business partnering experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making
- Advanced Excel skills with strong numerical and analytical capability
- Proven ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with tight deadlines
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong ownership and accountability
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and delivery quality
