Job Summary
Due to progression, we are seeking another energetic and reliable 7.5 tonne driver to join our team!
Varied work schedules, no nights away, good working conditions with a successful company. Good rates of pay, inc monthly attendance bonus. No overnights, 40 hours a week (sociable hours). Good people skills/experience of dealing with customers. Manual handling/lifting of tyres involved. Covering Central and Eastern England.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne truck for scheduled collections across various locations
- Load and unload tyres efficiently, ensuring secure transportation
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with legal requirements
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during driving duties
- Maintain accurate documentation, and vehicle records
- Communicate effectively regarding schedules, delays or issues during routes
Experience
- Proven commercial driving experience, preferably involving 7.5 tonne vehicles
- Valid UK driving license suitable for 7.5 tonne vehicles
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving
