Duties Involve:
Opening Shift for a 5am start, 5 days a week may include one day of the weekend but to be confirmed
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, to be made quickly and efficiently for busy commuters
- Using espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to make high-quality beverages
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and staff
- Handle cash transactions and accurately process payments
- Replenish all stock and monitor stock levels
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is essential
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks and ensure efficient service
