The Role
Knightsbridge Professional Lettings are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our friendly and close-knit team.
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of around 160 residential properties, acting as the main point of contact for landlords, tenants and contractors and ensuring properties and tenancies are managed smoothly, professionally and compliantly.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, is highly organised and takes pride in providing an excellent service.
As part of the role, you'll also support the lettings team when required, particularly on the Saturday rota. This will include handling applicant enquiries, arranging viewings, progressing applications and offers and communicating with landlords.
Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties and maintaining strong landlord and tenant relationships.
- Overseeing maintenance, repairs, contractors and tenancy issues.
- Managing rent arrears, payments and landlord financial updates.
- Handling tenancy rent reviews.
- Ensuring properties and tenancies remain compliant with current legislation.
- Managing Right to Rent checks, deposits and other tenancy documentation.
- Keeping property records accurate and up to date.
- Working closely with the lettings, sales and accounts teams.
- Supporting the lettings team with enquiries, viewings, applications and offers when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who ideally has previous experience in the residential lettings industry who is:
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Confident and professional when dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Proactive, with the ability to solve problems and think on their feet.
- Commercially aware and confident discussing rent reviews with landlords.
- Detail-focused, particularly when dealing with compliance and documentation.
- A strong communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Comfortable working in a varied role and supporting colleagues when needed.
