Lancashire Sports Repairs is one of the UK's largest repair centres for outdoor equipment and we are looking for a footwear technician to join our growing team. The position is full time and we are currently operating on a 4 day working week totalling 36.5 hours. The hours are:
- Monday - 7:30am - 5:00pm
- Tuesday - 7: 00am - 8:00pm
- Wednesday - 7:30am - 5:00pm
- Thursday - 7:30am - 5:00pm
The typical day to day repairs include resoling of walking/climbing boots, various stitching faults and replacement of lacing systems. Previous experience repairing or restoring footwear is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided in house.
The successful candidate must be:
- Comfortable with a 'hands-on' style position.
- Comfortable working with a variety of tools and machinery.
- Able to work to deadlines and targets.
The starting pay rate is £12.75 per hour and will increase following a successful 3 month trial period and with progression.
