You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and leading a dedicated warehouse team. This role will deputise for the Site Manager during periods of absence, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership career.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all daily warehouse operations.
- Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain high standards of stock accuracy through effective inventory control.
- Use and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support efficient operations.
- Build and maintain professional relationships by corresponding with customers regarding deliveries, orders, and service queries.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Produce operational reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deputise for the Site Manager, overseeing the site and making operational decisions when required.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise professionally with customers.
- Good IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to delivering high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
- Forklift licence/certification (desirable but not essential)
