RMS Ltd is a privately owned refurbishment and maintenance company with extensive experience delivering high-quality projects across pubs, restaurants, universities, and other commercial premises.
Based in Nottingham, we operate throughout the East Midlands and beyond and are now looking to recruit an experienced Joiner / Multi-Trade Operative to join our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional who takes pride in producing quality workmanship across all aspects of joinery, including maintenance, refurbishment, and small construction projects.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality joinery works on refurbishment and maintenance projects.
- Complete small construction works to specification and within agreed timescales.
- Respond to planned works and reactive callouts as required.
- Maintain professional standards and represent RMS Ltd positively on client sites.
- Work safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent attention to detail.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working as an on-site Joiner.
- City & Guilds Advanced Craft, NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, or an equivalent qualification.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage workloads effectively.
- Professional approach with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Basic plumbing, plastering, and tiling skills.
